2008
Can you believe it is already 2008? It seems like just yesterday we were all hearing about Y2K. My how time flies as you get older. We had a wonderful Christmas. Jeff's sister was here for most of the Christmas break. We got to spend a good amount of time with both sides of the family. My nieces are growing up way too fast. I really wish I could spend more time with them. The kids love being with their cousins. Speaking of cousins, those of mine who are reading this please leave comments. I promise to sit down and get back with you soon. I'll try to post some holiday pictures in the next couple of days. later...

Ah, Y2K! We refused to be worried, in fact, we had a neat celebration. We went to a nice restaurant, and had their signature desert. Then we came home, played games, donned our hats and watched the ball drop. It was the first year Alicia stayed up to watch it.
Christmas this year was spent with 14 in attendance. David, Alicia,Will and I played host to David's folks, sister, her grand children, our niece, her boyfriend, and the stepfather of my sister in law's grand children.
The day after, we went to Indy to help get the folk's house ready to sell. (They are to move in with use by the middle of February. We stayed until the New Year. On the 8th, we were back in Indianapolis, for Dad's back surgery. At the moment, we are home again. (I am glad!)
Alicia is in full swing , enjoying her Senior year. She will be 18 on the 25th of this month. AwK! My baby girl is a young women, can you believe it? I'll blink again and she'll be married with her own children! I just pray I have passed on the skills for her to be as good a mother as I had!
I look forward to the pictures! Until then, dear cousin, know you and your family are in my thoughts.
